BATTERS: Early deep league targets, 2019

As we did with starting pitchers this week, let's help you target where to spend your speculative dollars on hitters if you play in a deep league. Here are a bunch of bats in each league worth pursuing:
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Ryan Cordell (RF, CHW) isn't owned in most leagues, as he hasn't delivered much value (.234 BA, 3 HR, 9 RBI, .741 OPS in 64 AB). But his plate skills are ticking up over the last month (11% bb%, 68% ct%, 0.39 Eye). His speed skills hint at more SB potential (125 Spd). And his 92.6 mph average exit velocity is one of the better marks in the AL. He can serve as a viable fourth of fifth outfielder in deep AL-only leagues.
