The conventional idea of a sleeper for fantasy purposes usually implies finding a young player with untapped potential or a shot at increased playing time. This type of young player can be a great target if everything comes together, but impactful players like Mike Trout and Bryce Harper are the exception, not the rule. Like Trout, many hyped prospects experience some growing pains initially or flame out all together once they reach The Show.
