First-year player draft potential rating buckets (2024)

For the first time in my writing career, I attended the draft in person, this year at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas. I put together the Scouting Round One article from the press row as each name was called. We prepared 46 capsules before the draft, and 28 saw the light of day. Two additional draft capsules were written on the spot. I also started putting together this article at the draft. Here is last year’s First-Year player draft potential rating article.
