Usually, my EHI reports are saturated with Double-A Southern League looks. Unfortunately, my work schedule hasn’t allowed me the opportunity to cover many Southern League prospects in person. Rather, I’ve spent more time covering High-A South Atlantic League when I’m available to scout prospects in person. I didn’t miss much early in the Southern League, as they started lighter than any other year I’ve covered. However, the 2nd half of the circuit has been flush with prospects. I covered Kane Kepley (OF, CHC) on last week’s podcast, who just happened to be called up from High-A when I saw him. Kepley is a borderline Top 100 prospect who has excellent OBP skills to go with double plus speed and defensive carry skills for CF....
