AL Central: Ibáñez pushing for more playing time

Colt Keith (2B, DET) continues to operate as the team's primary second baseman, as he's in there every day against right-handers and sometimes vs lefties. But it's been a rough start to the season for the 22-year-old, who is sporting a .404 OPS through 111 PA. Keith's 80% ct% is respectable, but the quality contact is lacking, as shown by his woeful 9/35 PX/xPX combo. The team recently sent Parker Meadows (OF, DET) back to Triple-A and could follow suit with Keith if he doesn't turn things around soon.

The team envisioned Zach McKinstry (3B, DET) as someone who could play all over and hold his own against right-handed pitching. He has fulfilled the first role but has limped to a .211/.276/.269 line over his first 58 PA....
