San Diego unexpectedly stood pat at this year's deadline, most likely in an effort to reboot and make a run at things again in 2016. The outfield playing time picture has therefore stayed the same—Justin Upton (OF, SD) and Matt Kemp (OF, SD) continue to hold down everyday spots, while Will Venable (OF, SD) and Melvin Upton (OF, SD) are splitting time as Wil Myers (OF, SD) recovers from a wrist injury. Myers has been dealing with wrist issues for much of the season and currently has no timetable for a return.

With Myers out, Venable and Upton have formed a straight platoon. Venable has been getting regular playing time vs. RHP and is hitting .250 with six HRs and nine SBs in 260 ABs this season. Venable's .246 xBA and 94...
