After a 2021 season that was almost entirely lost due to a shoulder injury, Edwin Ríos (3B, LA) was able to win a roster spot over Jake Lamb (3B/OF, LA) in spring training to become the team’s primary corner infield bench bat. While he won that job battle, he felt safe to ignore for fantasy purposes due to the crowded Dodgers’ lineup, particularly before A.J. Pollock (OF, CHW) was traded. 

Rios has largely played to his projected role early this season, starting only four times across 13 games, all of which have come against right handers.
