The Arizona starting infield has been a revolving door early on this season. Aaron Hill (3B, ARI) and Jake Lamb (3B, ARI) took turns at the hot corner in the opening week, but recent comments by manager Chip Hale suggest that will change. Hale publicly backed Lamb as the primary starter at 3B, and the club will play some form of musical chairs up the middle.

Hill will join Chris Owings (2B, ARI) and Nick Ahmed (SS, ARI) in a rotation between 2B and SS. Hale wants to get Hill's bat in the lineup, which will likely result in Owings bouncing back and forth between the two spots. Depending on league formats, Owings should gain 2B eligibility early in the season.
