The Dodgers continue to steal headlines after their acquisition of Craig Kimbrel (RHP, LA), who suddenly has made closer speculation moot in LA – at least for the time being. However, the team has also made more under-the-radar acquisitions to the rotation in recent weeks. The top two starting pitchers are as stable as possible in Walker Buehler (RHP, LA) and Julio Urías (LHP, LA). Clayton Kershaw (LHP, LA) has thrown 7.2 innings in spring training (through Friday), so it appears he is ready to start the season after a forearm injury cast doubt on his ability to pitch at all in 2022.
