The expectation coming into camp was that Cristian Pache (OF, ATL) would displace incumbent three-time Gold Glove winner Ender Inciarte (OF, ATL). General manager Alex Anthopoulos decided to carry the then 21-year-old on the postseason roster after a grand total of four plate appearances during the regular season.
