Those eagerly awaiting the arrival of Trea Turner (2B/SS, WAS) may not have to wait much longer. Though it’s an excruciatingly small sample size, Danny Espinosa (2B/SS, WAS) is off to a dreadful start, slashing .161/.289/.194 in his first 31 AB of 2016. Of course, a 23% h% hasn’t helped his cause, but the bottom line results haven’t been pretty.

Meanwhile, Turner, who was ranked by BaseballHQ.com as the team's third best prospect, has been swinging an extremely hot bat at Triple-A, compiling a .424/.525/.606 slash line with 1 HR, 4 SB, 7 BB and 6 K in 33 AB. When the Nationals sent him to Triple-A in late March, they reportedly wanted him to work on his defense and arm strength, as well as his leadership ability....
