Brandon Phillips (2B, ATL) has proven to be a tremendous acquisition, as he has slashed .306/.349/.463 with 7 HR and 7 SB in 255 AB. With the Braves in the midst of the rebuilding process, there’s a decent chance the 36-year-old free-agent-to-be will be dealt prior to the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline. If that happens, who would fill the void at second base?

Ozzie Albies (2B/SS, ATL), who entered 2017 ranked by BaseballHQ.com as the team’s 2nd best prospect (19th in MLB), would be the most likely option.
