PT TOMORROW: NL Central—Soler nearing return

Chicago Cubs

Jorge Soler (OF, CHC), out since early June with a sprained ankle, was able to run the bases prior to the team's game June 25. He's said to be nearing a rehab assignment, making a return in early July look like a distinct possibility. He's been a bit of a disappointment so far this year, hitting just four home runs with a 121 PX in 189 at-bats, after hitting five home runs in just 89 at-bats last year. It could actually be worse if not for a 39 percent hit rate that has bumped his batting average up to .265, despite a 65 percent contact rate and .239 xBA. That being said, Soler offers huge upside, and should hit for considerably more power during the second half.

Both Chris Denorfia (OF, CHC) and Chris Coghlan (OF, CHC)...

Almost!
