However, it closed by providing a glimmer of hope, suggesting that the easiest path for him to take a step forward is to improve against left-handed pitching and become an everyday player.
Schwarber has slashed .182/.300/.308 in 250 career plate appearances without the platoon advantage, indicating it would require quite a turnaround for him to be serviceable against southpaws.
