PT TOMORROW: NL Central—Projecting significant roster turnover

A lot of players from the National League Central made their mark in the Futures Game last week, and one player from last year’s edition looks ready to make his mark in St. Louis. Masyn Winn (SS, STL) has spent his entire season with AAA Memphis. At first glance, his numbers aren’t particularly impressive, as he has only an 87 wRC+ and .337 wOBA across 394 plate appearances on the season. However, those numbers are heavily skewed by a slow start to the campaign, as he posted a .608 OPS in April. Since, that number has steadily improved and he now owns a mark of .748. In particular, he’s been in excellent in July with three home runs and four additional extra-base hits in 10 games.
