Nearly a month into spring training, there are few indications from Reds camp on who might fill the team’s final two rotation spots. Amir Garrett (LHP, CIN), Cody Reed (LHP, CIN), Robert Stephenson (RHP, CIN), Tim Adleman (RHP, CIN), and Lisalverto Bonilla (RHP, CIN) are all reportedly in contention.

While Reed and Stephenson both have prospect pedigree, they both struggled in the big leagues in 2016. Reed gave up 2.3 hr/9 over his ten starts, while Stephenson posted a 4.6 Ctl that was consistent with his minor league numbers and scouting reports.
