There are many potential culprits for the Reds’ slow start to the season offensively, though perhaps none of their projected regulars to begin the season has gotten off to a worse start than Mike Moustakas (3B, CIN) (65 ct%, 30 HctX, -2 xPX, -99 BPV). While that comes on a small sample due to an early-season stint on the injured list, he should be considered in danger of losing future playing time. Moustaskas has split time between third base, where he’s made eight starts, and designated hitter, where he’s made four starts, to begin the season. 

The team could opt to use nearly anyone on the roster to replace his plate appearances at DH, with the most likely choice being one of the team’s top four outfielders to fit each...
