The Cardinals enter the season with impressive depth throughout the roster, including six strong options to cover the outfield and first base. As it stands now, Jon Jay (OF, STL), who served as the everyday center fielder last season, and Oscar Taveras (OF, STL), ranked #2 in the HQ100, don't appear to have starting jobs. Matt Holliday (OF, STL) is firmly entrenched in left field, and Allen Craig (OF, STL) is expected to see the majority of his time in right field, while Matt Adams gets most of the starts at first base. Meanwhile, off-season acquisition Peter Bourjos (OF, STL), an elite defender, appears to have the early edge for the starting job in center.
