The Opening Day rotation may be more settled than other in baseball. Barring sudden health issues, none of the projected group of Justin Verlander, Dallas Keuchel (LHP, HOU), Gerrit Cole, Lance McCullers (RHP, HOU) and Charlie Morton (RHP, HOU) are going to be dislodged from their spots, leaving the outstanding question of what to do with longtime Astros SP Collin McHugh (RHP, HOU).

An equally-stacked bullpen and plenty of MLB-ready position depth suggest that HOU has zero reason to be pursuing a trade. More notably, McCullers' fragility—152 DL days in 2016-17 with elbow, shoulder and back injuries—keeps a red flag over his head.
