PT TOMORROW: AL West—September roster outlooks

Since last week's piece noting the coming wave of roster reinforcements, some of the walking wounded (catchers Brian McCann and Evan Gattis, RP Will Harris) have already returned, with others (including Carlos Correa) to follow. HOU will also likely recall a few of their MLB-ready position players, the most notable candidates being Tyler White, Tony Kemp and A.J. Reed. But apart from spelling regulars who will spend September getting ready for the post-season, it's difficult to project any significant AB for these names.

The volatile pitching staff is another story. September will factor into whether Tony Sipp and/or Francisco Liriano will be lefties-out-of-the-pen during the post-season—or whether HOU will even carry...
