Out since May 17 with a calf strain, Mike Trout (OF, LAA) was originally diagnosed with a 6-8 week return ETA. Early last week following an interim examination, Trout shed his walking boot, saying his rehab "is going good, I feel great" and has now subsequently begun running drills ("baseball-related activity") this week. The latest news seemingly puts Trout on the front end of his early comeback prognosis—and still has him back with the club shortly following the All-Star break at the very latest, barring setbacks. He'll return to a club that has caught fire offensively in his absence; the Trout-less Angels are tracking just behind the Astros as MLB's preeminent offensive club (.871 OPS) in June, and now rank fifth in...
