Entering 2015, Mark Canha (1B/OF, OAK) projected as a right-handed-hitting short-side platoon option, with his Rule 5 status, Nate Freiman's lat injury, and a big spring all factoring into his spot on the Opening Day roster. But Canha entered the second Monday of the season leading the club with 6 RBI and on a 9-for-25 tear before going 2-for-5 with another RBI Monday. The question that happy Canha owners must mull over now is what are his possibilities from here—with the logical answer being that nothing has really changed.

For one, while Canha has been red-hot in six consecutive starts through Monday, he's played LF in four of those starts—a position that still projects to be Coco Crisp's when he returns from elbow...
