A club with the AL's worst W-L record and one of MLB's very worst offenses—29th of 30 clubs in scoring, OPS—isn't likely to get a lot of wins down the stretch. Today the only roster remnants from the Opening Day rotation are Cole Irvin and James Kaprielian, with the latter now perhaps already in the bullpen following a rough August stretch (if the A's opt against a six-man rotation). We'll pass on Adam Oller (RHP, OAK)—6.01 / 6.14 ERA/xERA, 2% K-BB% through 73 IP), but if your fantasy team is looking for IP and Ks at a minimum, the A's newer arrivals are at least worth a look, particularly in their new pitcher-friendly home venue.
