With the Rays sitting in the AL East basement, Tampa Bay Times beat writer Marc Topkin recently offered his prescription of five steps the team could take to salvage the season, at least a couple of which, if taken, could have interesting fantasy implications.

One was to bring back Blake Snell (LHP, TAM), who has held opponents scoreless in three of his last five starts and struck out 13 in 5 2/3 innings in his most recent start June 10 for AAA-Durham. Through 12 Triple-A starts, Snell boasts a 3.2 Cmd and 12.9 Dom (90/28 K/BB in 63 IP).
