Heliot Ramos is getting much more playing time than we suspected when we asked whether he would still have a lineup position upon his return. And he’s very much earning that playing time: Since his June 28th return (which includes 47 PA), Ramos has batted .311 (with a .316 xBA) while adding 4 HR, 11 R, 8 RBI, and an .OBP of .340 (he has only 2 BB in 47 PA for a 4% BB% contrasted with a 26% K%). His power metrics are looking quite good – over those 47 plate appearances, he’s held a QBaB of AFb (two out of three ain’t bad?), a HctX of 164, and a 204 PX supported by a 238 xPX. Despite our concern that he might not have a full-time lineup position, Ramos has started each of the team’s last eleven games. High...
