PT TOMORROW: AL East—With Buchholz returning, who holds onto rotation spot?

Clay Buchholz (RHP, BOS) made his final rehab start June 19, spinning six shutout innings for Triple-A Pawtucket. He had a 7.02 ERA, 1.6 Cmd, and 30 BPV at the time of his DL stint, but will be slotted back into the rotation at some point in the coming week. With Buchholz back in the mix, the decision makers within the organization have a difficult task on their hands.

Felix Doubront (LHP, BOS) struggled in his return from the disabled list, lasting just 4.1 innings against Oakland, while giving up three runs and showing less velocity than usual. He now has a 5.19 ERA and 1.5 Cmd in 10 starts, while a couple of other candidates are making a strong case to remain in the rotation.
