It’s been a fairly quiet offseason so far in Baltimore, and one area where the team has lost more than it’s added is the starting rotation. As of now, Kyle Bradish, Grayson Rodriguez, Dean Kremer, and John Means appear to be highly likely to enter the year in the Opening Day rotation, with one spot still to be filled either by an outside acquisition or an internal option. Barring the addition of another starting pitcher, two pitchers who ended the 2023 season in Baltimore’s bullpen, Tyler Wells and DL Hall, are expected to enter camp as part of a competition for the final rotation spot, while also being in consideration for high-leverage bullpen roles.
