PT TOMORROW: AL East — In TAM, Paredes on the march

Given that Isaac Paredes (2B, TAM) entered the June 21 game in which he homered three times batting .181, few fantasy managers may have benefited from the standout performance — unless, of course, they had been monitoring Paredes’ xBA, which portended better days ahead.

Paredes followed up by hitting a home run the following day as well, his sixth of the past month, a stretch during which his xBA of .302 is nearly 100 points higher than his actual BA .208, thanks to a 13% hit rate.

The question on fantasy managers’ minds, of course, is “what will this get Paredes?”
