The deal that sent Adam Eaton (OF, WAS) to the Nationals left a gap in the outfield. Unless the White Sox sign a veteran, the CF position could be left to three candidates with little major league experience.

Team GM Rick Hahn has said CHW will not rush their prospects, but Charlie Tilson (OF, CHW; pictured above) might be an exception. In 2016, the Pale Hose regarded him high enough to immediately start him (with just 351 Triple-A AB) after acquiring him from STL at the trade deadline. Tilson was unable to finish his MLB debut with a season-ending torn left hamstring. Prior to the trade, he'd posted a .282 BA (85% ct%, 9% bb%) at Triple-A Memphis with 15 SB in 351 AB.
