The first four spots of the Indians rotation are locked down with Justin Masterson (RHP, CLE), Corey Kluber (RHP, CLE), Danny Salazar (RHP, CLE), and Zach McAllister (RHP, CLE) all returning from 2013. The fifth spot is up for grabs among Trevor Bauer (RHP, CLE), Carlos Carrasco (RHP, CLE), Josh Tomlin (RHP, CLE), Shaun Marcum (RHP, CLE), and Aaron Harang (RHP, CLE).

Carrasco seems to have the inside track for the spot. Manager Terry Francona has long been a strong advocate for Carrasco. The Indians gave Carrasco multiple chances last year, his first year back from TJ surgery, to establish himself in the rotation, but his results were poor (six of his seven MLB starts were PQS-DIS).  He did pitch well at the end of the...
