J.B. Shuck (OF, CHW) has gained some playing time recently because Avisaíl García (OF, CHW) has been bothered by knee inflammation. If Garcia goes on the DL, Shuck will likely get the nod over struggling Emilio Bonifácio (2B/OF, CHW) for most of the starts. In a near full-time role (437 AB) with the Angels in 2013, Shuck earned $12 in 5x5 value, primarily on the strength of a .293 BA with 8 SB. Shuck fell off of many fantasy owners’ radars after a miserable .145/.195/.250 in only 110 AB last year. He has a career minor league BA of .304 including .302 in just over 1200 AB at Triple-A.
