Danny Salazar (RHP, CLE) underwent exploratory arthroscopic surgery on his problematic right shoulder on July 2, and the news came quickly afterward that he will miss the remainder of the 2018 season. Salazar first injured his shoulder during a winter workout in January, and has been dealing with an inflamed rotator cuff and impingement tendinitis, which has led to both a platelet-rich protein injection and a cortisone injection, both of which required him to be shut down for several weeks.

Salazar's news came just a day after the Indians' decision to demote Adam Plutko (RHP, CLE) and keep Shane Bieber (RHP, CLE) with the anticipated return of Carlos Carrasco from the DL (he's expected to start on July 6th). We...
