The Eduardo Núñez (3B/SS, SF) move to SF left a hole to be filled at SS. It appeared Eduardo Escobar (SS, MIN) would get the bulk of the ABs, but Escobar's picked a bad time to fall into a 4-for-25 slump for August. Overall, he's been able to muster only five HR in 241 AB, and the 2016 Baseball Forecaster warned his 2015 power surge (12 HR) was due to a spike against LHPs (seven HR, 139 PX in 130 AB vs lefties in 2015, just two with a 100 PX in 62 AB in 2016).
