Lucas Duda (1B/DH, KC) returned from the Injured List this past week and immediately bumped the struggling Ryan O’Hearn (1B, KC) who has so far been unable to recapture the offensive magic from the last year (.262/.353/.597 with 12 home runs in 149 ABs) that had Royals fans excited about his power potential entering the 2019 season. The biggest change for O’Hearn this season is in his batted ball profile as the 2018 line 35% GB/19% LD/46% FB with a 209 PX/160 xPX has morphed into 50% GB/14% LD/36% FB with a below average 84 PX/89 xPX. Hitting the ball on the ground more often and with less authority has led to a 23% h% in 2019, down a full six percentage points from his previous season. Only 25, he has a little time...
