Jeimer Candelario (3B, DET; pictured above) has started at third base in 40 of 43 games through May 19, after playing 43 games at first base (and only 10 at 3B) during 2020. Regardless of position, the light seemed to click on for him during 2020 (his age-26 season), as incremental improvements in ct% and line drives swung his hit rate/BA pendulum above average. However, those recent improvements are only over 338 AB, compared to his combined 874 AB during 2018-19 (when he batted .216), so this bears continued watching.
