With Carlos Carrasco (RHP, CLE) on the DL and Cody Anderson (RHP, CLE) off to a poor start, starting pitching depth is getting thinner for the Tribe. Trevor Bauer (RHP, CLE) is already the next man up. Ross Detwiler (LHP, CLE) has been limited to short outings in the 2016 spring and regular seasons, so he might need to be stretched out. Help may need to come from the farm.

Mike Clevinger (RHP, CLE; pictured above), BaseballHQ.com's number 5 prospect in the 2016 Cleveland Organizational Report, had impressed in the spring (one ER, six K in six IP) and in the regular season (two ER, 13 K in his first two starts).  However, he was rung up for five ER in his third outing of the season for Triple-A Columbus.
