Who is hot: Adalberto Mondesi (SS, KC) and Maikel Franco (3B, KC). Mondesi (pictured above) has been on a tear thus far in September, adding nearly 470 points to his OPS (.902 in September) after a horrid August (.433 OPS). Counting stats have improved across the board, and his eight steals thus far this month (in nine attempts) have pushed him to the top of the major leagues in that category for the season to date. (“Finally!” whisper his 2020 fantasy owners.) 

His plate approach has not really changed, but a hit rate rebound (26% h% in August, 38% in September) boosted both batting and on-base averages. The stolen base success rate is also notable, since he was only 8-for-13 through August, showing that he may have...
