There has been no clarification on the status of Mike Clevinger (RHP, CHW), who is in some hot water for allegations involving domestic violence and child abuse. If he's not available, the team could have an interesting battle for the 5th starter spot this spring. 

Davis Martin (RHP, CHW) was a serviceable fill-in last season, when he made nine starts and appeared out of the pen on five other occasions. He recorded a 3.80 ERA over his first eight starts before getting roughed up for 9 ER in 1.2 IP in his final outing of the year. All told, Davis had a 4.83 ERA and 4.45 xERA, but his respectable 11.7% SwK suggests his weak 18% K% could take a step forward in 2023.
