With a 1.47 career ERA and coming off a 42-save season, Emmanuel Clase (RHP, CLE) is firmly entrenched as one of the top closers in the game. Barring an injury, it's hard to see him losing the job, but we can still take a look at some potential backup options that can provide some value as setup men with holds and/or solid ratios.

James Karinchak (RHP, CLE) racked up 11 saves in 2021 and three more last season after returning from a shoulder injury that erased his 1st half. The sub-2.00 ERA he recorded in the 2nd half was aided by some good fortune, as he had a 3.29 xERA during that timeframe.
