NL East: Now leading off for Atlanta, Jorge Soler

It's been a rough week for the Atlanta Braves, who have lost their last five games in a row, including two of four against the last place Marlins, while also getting swept by the NL Central leading Milwaukee Brewers in Atlanta. That stretch has the Braves half a game out of a Wild Card spot entering play on Friday. This is a position the team has not been in since June of 2022.

So, it should come as no surprise that the Braves are mixing things up a bit. The biggest change since the trade deadline is moving Jorge Soler into the leadoff spot and right field. Soler had been batting leadoff for the San Francisco Giants since late June prior to joining the Braves, but he'd also been their designated hitter. With Marcel Ozuna...
