NL Central: Will a position change clear up the MIL OF picture?

Since the last edition of this column, the Brewers have made a few moves to improve their lineup along the infield and at DH. Rhys Hoskins (1B, MIL) will take over as the everyday first baseman, while Joey Oritz (SS, MIL) – not exactly a straight addition, but part of the return in the Corbin Burnes (RHP, BAL) trade – should compete for playing time at third base. The transaction that seems to be hanging in the balance and could be key to the outlook of the lineup is Gary Sánchez (C, MIL). He reportedly reached a deal with the club Feb. 7, but the deal has not been officially announced, and he has not yet reported to camp.
