DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: NL West—Lilly set to enter LA rotation

A few weeks back, we took a look at how the Dodgers had a surplus of pitching heading into the season. Now, Zack Greinke (RHP, LA) is out with a broken collarbone, Aaron Harang is in Seattle, and Chris Capuano (LHP, LA) is on the disabled list with a strained calf. They no longer have much depth in the rotation, offering support to the adage that you can never have too much pitching.

Last week, Ted Lilly (LHP, LA), who is returning from September shoulder surgery, had reportedly refused to make any more minor league rehab starts. He apparently softened his stance, though, as he pitched five innings for Class A Rancho Cucamonga April 15, allowing three earned runs. Now, it looks as though a spot in the rotation will...
