DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: NL Central—Will pitching injuries bring prospects?

In a roster move that could have far-reaching implications, the Brewers placed Chris Narveson (LHP, MIL) on the DL with a sprained middle finger. Narveson is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. To replace him on the roster, the Brewers recalled Blake Lalli (C/1B, MIL) from AAA Nashville. Lalli will give the Brewers much needed bench depth, although his playing time should be limited. To clear room on the 40-man roster, the Brewers moved Corey Hart (1B, MIL) to the 60 day DL, meaning that he can not return until the end of May. Assistant GM Gordon Ash emphasized that this does not represent a setback. Following Hart's January knee surgery, doctors indicated that he would...
