AL Central: Can Martin beat Outman for left field reps?

The team is currently at close to full strength and most of the starting position players are locked into near everyday roles. The left field job is one exception, with Austin Martin and James Outman battling for at-bats there.

Martin has missed a large chunk of the season due to multiple hamstring injuries and didn't make his first major league appearance until the beginning of August. After hitting .319 with 1 HR and 2 SB in 137 PA at Triple-A, he has hit .254/.329/.349 with 1 HR and 6 SB in just 71 PA with the Twins. Martin only swiped seven bags in 257 PA in the majors in 2024, but if he stays aggressive on the bases he could be useful for teams in dire need of speed.
