NEWS: Miami announced that outfielders Kyle Stowers and Esteury Ruiz will open the 2026 season on the injured list.

BHQ SPIN: Stowers was diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain and will be reassessed in three to four weeks. That means he’s likely out until at least May. As a result, we’ve cut his playing time projection to 65%. We’ve shifted his lost playing time to a number of different Marlins, including Griffin Conine (now 65%); Owen Caissie (65%), Javier Sanoja (60%), and Graham Pauley (50%). If healthy, Ruiz would have been a candidate for a playing time bump, but for a high grade oblique strain that will sideline him for six to eight weeks. He’s now projected to play 10%, and...
