NEWS: The Tigers have recalled 3B Jace Jung from AAA-Toledo; in a corresponding move CF Ryan Kreidler was optioned to AAA-Toledo.

BHQ SPIN:. The Tigers have recalled 3B Jace Jung who is the #87 ranked prospect in the HQ100. Jung has slashed .239/.409/.463 in 19 games at Toledo this season. He profiles as an above average offensive player who has the ability to get on base which would be an improvement over Kreider’s anemic bat. Javier Báez has seen some action at center field recently and figures to see some additional action there until Parker Meadows returns from injury. Baez has a solid .265 BA this season, but his performance appears to mostly be driven by luck (35 h%, 59 GB%, .190...
