San Francisco Giants RP Mark Melancon (elbow) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Wednesday, May 17. The team also optioned 2B Kelby Tomlinson to Class AAA Sacramento.  Source: MLB.com
 
BHQ take: Melancon missed the minimum time and returns to a 2.53 ERA with six saves in eight chances. Fill-in closer Derek Law encountered some turbulence in his first opportunity, giving up three hits and two earned runs but still earning a save, and then earned two more unscathed. Tomlinson’s contributions were a pair of stolen bases in his 25 AB, but more notable were his 0 PX/-24...
