| Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim manager Mike Scioscia said Wednesday, Aug. 28, that 3B Chris Nelson (hamstring) will be placed on the 15-day disabled list, and a corresponding move will be made Thursday, Aug. 29. 3B Luis Jimenez was lifted from his game with Triple-A Salt Lake, and appears to be the guy coming up.
