BHQ SPIN: Baltimore suffered a hit to its lineup in its final game before the All-Star break after Alexander was hit by a pitch and later diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture in his left hand. Before the injury, Alexander had emerged as a regular fixture in Baltimore's lineup, getting most of his playing time at third base.
