NEWS: Seattle RHP Bryce Miller is dealing with an abdomen/oblique issue.

BHQ SPIN: Miller still hasn’t made a spring appearance after pitching 1.1 innings on February 26. He had a setback when trying to do a bullpen session recently and looks like he will likely not be ready for Opening Day. Miller struggled last year with elbow issues to the tune of a 5.68 ERA and while this year’s issues are not elbow related, a pesky oblique injury is not great news. RHP Emerson Hancock is likely to take his spot in the rotation as he did last year.
